Cambodians are great. They are polite and helpful. Tuk tuk drivers inform you when you pass by important sites and you simply do not feel threatened walking down the streets after sunset.
Yes, as a foreigner you pay 3 times more for everything but it's forgiveable because it's still cheap for us. We never felt that we were being ripped off, we always managed to negotiate the price and both parties were happy.

Visitting S-21 was very depressing. But it's probably much more disturbing walking around the site of Killing Fields where to this day bones and clothes of the victims are being washed away from underground during rainy season.

We have decided that our 3rd best liked temple is Angkor Wat itself. It's so big that you could spend hours studying the details carved on the walls.
Angkor Wat, 'the city pagoda', was not only a temple but a city as well. It's like a pyramid with three level and you can climb up to the to highest temple.
It is dated from early 12th century with later additions.
