Studying novices. / Nwocjusze nad ksiazkami
A boy can start his monk learning at a monastery at the age of 5. Every Burmese man should participate in it at least ones in their life. Those, who feel it's the right path for them, may stay to become monks at the age of 18. Until then, they are being known as 'novices'.

Boys will become 'novices'. Wearing make up for donation ceremony is a tradition. / Chłopcy staną się 'nowicjuszami'. Makijaż na ceremonie ofiarną to tradycja.
Sending a boy to monastery for learning is an opportunity for great celebrations in every family. On that day, a family has a chance to collect donations from others. It's a tradition that everyone respects and adhers to, even the poorest.
After the initial ceremony and prayers, boys are getting their head shaved and family begins celebrations.
