91. Death Road, Bolivia / Droga Śmierci, Boliwia

We learnt about Death Road from the Top Gear Bolivia Special Show and thought that it might be interesting to see it. However, we didn't expect to experience it on the mountain bikes!
We are not going to describe how cool that was - hopefully you were able to see it yourselves in our movie.
We definitely recommend visiting Death Road on bikes! There are many tour companies that embark on this adventure from the city of La Paz.

90. Uyuni Salt Flats (Salar de Uyuni), Bolivia / Solnisko Salar de Uyuni (Salar de Uyuni), Boliwia

We left the Peruvian Andies behind us and headed to Bolivia, to a small town of Uyuni.
Uyuni is a gateway to the biggest salt flats in the world - Uyuni Salt Flats (Salar de Uyuni). These salt flats are basically dried lakes and a source of salt (!). They contain high reserves of lithium. But, from what our tour guide told us, we understood that the Bolivian government have not been able to use it as an advantage.
