We learnt about Death Road from the Top Gear Bolivia Special Show and thought that it might be interesting to see it. However, we didn't expect to experience it on the mountain bikes!
We are not going to describe how cool that was - hopefully you were able to see it yourselves in our movie.
We definitely recommend visiting Death Road on bikes! There are many tour companies that embark on this adventure from the city of La Paz.
Barracuda Biking Company, in our humble opinion, have got great guides - boys are knowledgeable locals with great understanding of the route and its' most dangerous spots. They know some good stories and give a proper attention to those less confident! Oh, and the bikes are safe and in good condition too. So if you've got a chance of embarking on this adventure do not let the fear stop you. It is well worth trying!
O Drodze Śmierci dowiedzieliśmy się z programu tv Top Gear Bolivia Special i od razu stwierdziliśmy, że chcemy to miejsce zobaczyć. Nie spodziewaliśmy się jednak, że zrobimy to na rowerach górskich!
Nie będziemy tu opisywać, jak super było - mamy nadzieję, iż wywnioskować można to z naszego filmiku. Chcielibyśmy jednak polecić skosztowanie takiej przygody każdemu, kto ma okazję. W mieście La Paz jest pełno małych firm, które organizują zjazd rowerami po Drodze Śmierci.
Naszym skromnym zdaniem Barracuda Biking Company ma świetnych przewodników - miejscowych chłopaków, którzy znają trasę bardzo dobrze wraz z jej wszystkimi niebezpiecznymi skrętami i zaułkami. Są w stanie opowiedzieć różne ciekawe historyjki i poświęcić więcej uwagi tym, którzy na trasie nie czują się zbyt pewnie. No i oczywiście rowery są bezpieczne i w dobrym stanie.
Także, jeżeli możecie skorzystać z okazji to nie pozwólcie, by strach odebrał Wam taka możliwość. Ta przygoda jest warta przeżycia!
