56. Long day out and about, Bali / Długi dzień spędzony na zwiedzaniu, Bali

Sightseeing in Bali can be time consuming and painful sometimes. The reason for this is really heavy traffic. The places of interest are not that far apart because it's a small island.
Unfortunately what should  be a few hours trip turns into a 10 hour expedition. Combine it with the great heat and that's enough to put anybody off. But not us... even if it means visitting more temples.


Zwiedzanie w Bali może być naprawdę czasochłonne i niestety bolesne. A to ze względu na korki na drogach. Miejsca, które wzbudzają zainteresowanie wcale nie są mocno oddalone od sibie, gdyż Bali to mała wyspa. Niestety, to co powinno być kilku godzinnym wypadem zamienia się w 10-cio godzinną ekpedycję. Dodaj do tego jeszcze upał i to może zniechęcić każdego. Ale nie nas... nawet jeśli to oznacza zwiedzanie świątyń.

Access to the temple during ceremonies is restricted. Understandably. But you can still enter with the tour guide provided at the entrance for small fee (or with offerings to the gods which you can purchase from the street vendors) and after leaving donations (the amount is suggested by the guys in ticket office!). All in all, the more you're prepared to pay the more of the Mother Temple you get to see. / Wstęp do świątyni podczas ceremonii może być bardzo ograniczony. Jest to zrozumiałe. Ale wszystko można załatwić; za pewną opłatą można wynająć przewodnika przy wejściu  ( i/lub nabywając dary dla bogów od ulicznych sprzedawców) oraz po zostawieniu datku (suma jest sugerowana przez kolesi przy kasie!). Ewidentnie widać, że im więcej jesteś przygotowana/y zapłacić, tym więcej Matki Świątyni zobaczysz.

Flowing water of Tampak Siring temple is said to have purifying effect on body and soul. / Uważa się, iż płynąca woda świątyni Tampak Siring oczyszcza ciało i duszę.

There was some sort of construction work going on around here and by the look of it, health and safety regulations are non existent. Not to mention the fact that these women are carrying bricks on their heads! / W pobliżu świątyni prowadzone były jakieś roboty budowlane i wszystko wskazuje na to, że zasady BHP tutaj nie istnieją. Pomijając teżfakt, że te kobiety noszą cegłówki na głowach!

Last stop of the day, Klungkung, visitting Kertha Gosa Pavilion with its wonderful ceiling murals displaying the punishment of hell and rewards of heaven. / Ostatni przystanek tego dnia,w Klungkung i zwiedzanie Pawilonu Kertha Gosa ze wspaniałymi muralami na suficie przedstawiającymi ukaranie piekła i nagradzanie nieba.
